Rodríguez Past has been scattering shimmering materials in puddles, creating a batch of wild overflow that could resemble waste left after a party or syncretic rite, a sparkly lost treasure, an explosion of vivacious vomit produced on an unmeasured night out, or a galactic milky tail stretching across the road. When these interventions are not shown in a gallery they are anonymous urban contaminants, visual noise crying for attention (photos 1 - 7). For the OVADA Open Exhibition 2013 she caught some of this rainwater and astral debris in a galvanised bucket (photos 8 - 10).
